Welcome to Lakeway
A sunny, affluent community with exceptional natural beauty and endless opportunities to explore the outdoors
The Lakeway Community is located near the shore of Lake Travis, just 30 minutes from Downtown Austin. The village was founded on the site of a 2,700-acre ranch and incorporated in 1974. Once a sparsely populated retirement town, Lakeway has recently seen a population surge as families and second-home weekenders looking to enjoy a laid-back lifestyle moved to the community.
Residents enjoy access to waterside parks, open spaces, lush greenery, and beautiful lake views. The community also offers various luxury amenities such as tennis courts, golf courses, spa facilities, a private airport, and hiking and biking trails.
The real estate market comprises pristine lake houses, sprawling single-family homes, luxury estates, and vacant lots. Luxury homes for sale in Lakeway can be found in neighborhoods like The Hills and Rough Hollow. There are plenty of waterfront homes in Rough Hollow with private docks or boat slips at the nearby club marina. Families who prefer golf course living will love the real estate options in The Hills and Falcon Head.
